Known to many as perhaps the best impressionist currently on the scene, comedian Reggie Reg is fast making his mark across the nation.  This talented comedian, impressionist and actor was recently seen on P.Diddy Presents the Bad Boyz of Comedy on HBO.

A native of Chicago, Reginald Muhammad started his career in comedy as a child in Brookhaven, Mississippi while living with his aunt.  His first step toward stardom came about at the age of six while at a talent show where he had audiences doubling over with laughter as “Flip Wilson”.  From there Reggie Reg emerged; bringing with him life to new characters such as Starsky & Hutch, Sanford & Son and a host of others from various television sitcoms.

Reggie Reg decided to put his career into full gear at the age of 22.  In the late ‘80’s he started the comedy circuit in Chicago performing in such venues as the Cotton Club; All Jokes Aside; TNT Comedy Hook; the Regal Theater, Riddles Comedy Club; Zannies; Barrel of Laughs; Isaac Hayes Restaurant; and BNJ’s Comedy Club. 

After gaining a wealth of recognition and gigs in Chicagoland, Reggie Reg decided to take his show on the road landing in such places as Chris Tucker’s Comedy Café; Uptown Comedy Corner; Punch Line Comedy Club a in Atlanta.  Moving onwards to Los Angeles, Reggie Reg has performed at the Comedy Union; Chocolate Sundays at the Laugh Factory and Mo Better Mondays at the Improv.

Reggie Reg has participated in several headline comedy tours including 1999 Bud Lite Def Jam and the 2003 Kings & Queens of Comedy Search produced by Walter Latham Entertainment.  He was the 2002 winner of the Tom Finch Miller Genuine Draft National Comedy Search Tour.

Reggie Reg’s talents were seen before massive crowds in select cities including Madison Square Garden; Universal Amphitheater; MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Civic Center in Atlanta; Chicago Theater; Tower Theater in Philadelphia; Fox Theater in Detroit; Majestic Theater in Dallas and Saenger in New Orleans.

As an actor, Reggie Reg has appeared in such productions as Remember the Titans; The Negotiator and Pound 4 Pound.  He also has one commercial to his credit for Famous Dave’s BBQ & Grill.

Reggie Reg is inspired by some of the greatest comedians in the business past and present: Redd Fox; Richard Pryor; Bill Cosby; Flip Wilson; Eddie Murphy; Chris Rock; John Belushi; Dan Ackroyd; Rich Little; Dana Carvey and Johnny Carson.
